XD thanks, Tigerfur, and I'm not busy at 9:00AM, but sadly, it's not 9:00AM . . . I'll be busy again in about 30 minutes . . . so I'll try to hurry up. XD
--~--
Dawnfur was pinned down to the solid, cold ground of the dark gray cave. The cat pinning her was a rather large black tom, hissing threats and insults at her. Dawnfur snorted. "Threatening me and insulting me won't kill me!" she growled, pushing the cat off of her with her paws.
"Maybe not, but it has made the rest of your stupid warriors angry!" the sleek black tom retorted angrily, fur bristling, and tail lashing. "Well, then, it just doesn't seem like I'm the one to accept threats and insults, does it?" Dawnfur snarled, leaping at the tom, and slashing his face with her front right paw.
"Hey!" the black tom hissed angrily, eyes closed, and slashing at the air blindly, trying to hit Dawnfur. "You missed," she growled, beaming. "Next time you want to try opening your eyes." This made the cat angrier than before. He opened his eyes, but at that same moment, Dawnfur bowled him over and pinned him.
The black cat's eyes were narrowed into slits as he hissed and spat angrily. "Biting is another great move us Clan cats use," Dawnfur meowed coldly, biting hard and deep into the tom's throat. He yowled in pain and fury, and with all the power he could bring, pushed Dawnfur off with his front paws and fled out of the cave.
"Not too loyal, that cat, is he?" Dawnfur smirked, and glanced sideways to fight another opponent. She spotted one about to sink his sharp teeth into Frostywind's neck, and her eyes widened. She leaped, and hissed a threat into the ear of the silver tom, while pushing him away from Frostywind.
Moments before the silver tom was to land on the cold, solid, stone ground of the cave, he turned quickly, and it was Dawnfur who had landed more painfully. "Ha!" the silver tom spat. "Threats like that won't stop me! And weak attempts like that are so pathetic!" hissed the silver tom, getting to his paws and launching himself at Dawnfur.
Dawnfur hissed, but said nothing. She was struggling under the surprising weight of the silver tom, and one paw was held to her throat. Frostywind was still sprawled on the cave floor just tail lengths away, her eyes half closed, but watching Dawnfur struggle. "Let her go, Blackwhisker,"
Dawnfur turned her head and saw Frostywind at her paws, but shaking, and bleeding quite badly. She took a few steps towards the silver tom, Blackwhisker, and hissed quietly, "I want revenge." Dawnfur was confused now. Frostywind wanted revenge. What did Blackwhisker do to her that she wanted revenge so badly?
"Well, you're too weak to have it!" snarled Blackwhisker, completely forgetting about Dawnfur, and turning, eyes narrowed and fur bristling, to Frostywind. "Oh, yeah?" Frostywind spat, digging her claws deep into the ground, which slightly stopped her from shaking. "What, you actually know how to fight?" growled Blackwhisker.
Dawnfur got to her paws quickly, and walked over to Frostywind. She stood next to her sister, and hissed. "Two against one," she meowed coldly, eyes narrowed. "Yes," Blackwhisker smirked, letting his fur lay flat again. "Two weak idiots against one powerful DarknessClan cat who happens to be Darkness' best friend!"
A sleek, but dirty, black cat half slithered, have walked, beside Blackwhisker. "Hello, Frostywind, Dawnfur." the cat meowed, smirking, and dipped his head to each of them. "What," Frostywind hissed, shocked, and eyes wide. "Idiot, I knew not to trust you but no one else did!" Dawnfur spat angrily.
Darkness laughed coldly. "And you may have been wrong not to trust me, Dawnfur," he retorted simply. "But I knew no cat would listen to you. You're too much of a mousebrained fool to be listened to!" he added, unsheathing his claws. "You traitor!" Frostywind meowed weakly, blood gushing out from wounds all over her.
Darkness hissed for silence once more, and let out a loud yowl so every cat turned to him, wearing puzzled looks. "Darkness is a traitor to us!" Dawnfur bellowed. "I knew it al along but none of you would listen!" Frostywind looked at her sister as if looking for forgiveness. "Dawnfur should have trusted me!" Darkness added, grinning, "Or I might not have decided to fight with my friends."
"But, we're your friends," Frostywind growled in a weaker voice than before. "Maybe, maybe not," Darkness replied. "all I know is that every one of you should have trusted me, treated me well, and everything and I might've been on your side today." Frostywind's eyes narrowed. "You traitorous fool," she growled, summoning all the remaining of her strength to say these words.
"You liar, you idiot . . . you deserve death like no other cat does!" Frostywind yowled, her eyes wide, and her legs shaking more. "You shall not be trusted." and with that, Frostywind's eyes closed, and she fell to the ground, as if dead, but still breathing. Dawnfur knew she had fainted due to loss of blood.
If it weren't that Darkness was hiding it, he looked quite shocked, and the look of triumph was mixed with what looked like guilt. Blackwhisker yowled, beaming. "One complete idiot dead! Only the rest of you to go," he hissed in a evil and happy sort of voice. Dawnfur's eyes were fixed on Darkness. Her claws were sheathing and unsheathing, eyes narrowed and her fur stood on end.
"Frostywind is right," Dawnfur snarled angrily, her claws now digging into the ground. "Not like you were ever right, you fool," she continued. "You deserve death along with your filthy little mousebrained idiotic followers," she casted a glance at Frostywind's almost unmoving body. "And guess what," she growled, eyes narrowed, and prepared to leap. "I'm going to kill you!"
Darkness took this as a surprise, even though he should have known Dawnfur would want revenge. "You want revenge just cause we almost killed your poor, little, weak sister?" Blackwhisker snarled, watching the fight and grinning. "You know Darkness is stronger than you, Darkness, kill that cat to show what will happen to the rest!"
"You can try to kill me," Dawnfur hissed. "But you're to weak, now enough talk, are you fighting out not?" she bit and pulled Darkness' tail, hard, making him hiss in a mix of anger and pain. Dawnfur released her grip, and immediately leaped, landing in front of Darkness, and jumping forwards again, pinning Darkness to the cave ground.
Dawnfur caught a glimpse of Flamestripe glancing at his sister's nearly unmoving body to the fight between Darkness and Dawnfur, and narrowed his eyes threateningly at Blackwhisker. "This is for what you did to Frostywind," he hissed coldly and quietly, and before Blackwhisker had time to react, he pounced, pinning Blackwhisker to the cave ground and biting into his throat.
Dawnfur nodded to him, and turned to fucus once more on her fight. She bit down deep as she could into Darkness' throat with her sharp teeth, and when she released her grip, blood was rushing out of Darkness' neck. Dawnfur caught a glimpse of Frostywind, and the RiverClan medicine cat looming over her, with cobwebs, comfrey, poppy seeds, goldenrod, and chamomile.
Dawnfur wondered if Frostywind actually needed all that, but then turned again to focus on defeating Darkness. Darkness was on his paws again, and the moment Dawnfur looked at him, he pounced, bowling Dawnfur over, and pinning her to the solid cave ground again. She quickly pushed Darkness off of her with her paws, and growled in fury.
"Kill him, Dawnfur!" Dawnfur heard a few cats hiss from the crowd of cats watching the fight. "Darkness, finish that lousy cat off!" and "Go Blackwhisker!" and the group of cats that Flamestripe led was cheering loudly for Flamestripe. Dawnfur quickly glanced over at the fight between Flamestripe and Blackwhisker, and sighed, relieved, seeing that Blackwhisker was bleeding badly, while Flamestripe was defeating him easily.
Dawnfur quickly turned back to Darkness and spat, "You're best friend is being killed by my brother! What do you think of that?" Dawnfur's tail lashed, and she pounced on Darkness while he was watching Flamestripe and Blackwhisker fight. "Surprise," she hissed, scratching him with sharp claws on the back of his neck.
Darkness hissed angrily and painfully, and shook Dawnfur off of him. "You'll need to do better than that!" he snarled, glaring at her. "And you'll need to learn not to fall for pathetic tricks like that!" Dawnfur snarled in return, pouncing on Darkness again, pinning him to the ground.
She scratched the front of his throat this time, making him angrier and weaker. "Get off of me, you -" Darkness began, only to be cut off by Flamestripe's yowl of triumph. Dawnfur leaped off of Darkness and looked at Flamestripe, and saw him standing in front of an unconsious Blackwhisker. Cheers for Flamestripe erupted from the crowd of cats, making Dawnfur happier.
"Good job, Flamestripe!" Dawnfur called to him, then turned to face Darkness again. "I will not give up," Darkness muttered angrily. "Not to a filthy kittypet like you!" a few gasps and hisses were heard from the Clan cats, and Dawnfur heard Ravenstar yowl to her, "Kill that filthy idiot for a taunt like that!"
Dawnfur grinned, and slashed Darkness repeatedly, until he, too was laying on the cave floor, unconsious. Yowls of triumph, cheers, and happiness echoed off of the cave walls, and Dawnfur smiled, even happier. She glanced at Flamestripe, who was cheering and grinning widely, then at Frostywind, who she saw was just awakening. "Frostywind!" Dawnfur called, rushing over to her sister.
"Can't believe that filthy idiot, Blackwhisker did that to you!" she hissed angrily. Frostywind's eyes were widening when she casted a glance at the uncunsious body of Darkness. "Flamestripe knocked out that Blackwhisker, and I defeated Darkness," Dawnfur explained.
"Darkness . . . is he dead?" asked Frostywind. "And Blackwhisker," Dawnfur looked confused for a moment, but shook her head. "Don't think so." she replied. "Why?" Frostywind looked back at Dawnfur. "They . . . shouldn't die." she meowed, staring up at Dawnfur, then getting to her paws.
"Not even Tigerstar deserved death. No cat does." she muttered, limping over to Darkness' body. "Why should you care about that fool? He betrayed us and was partly the cause of your injuries!" Silvershadow, one of Flamestripe's RiverClan friends, growled at Frostywind.
"I can't tell you," Frostywind hissed in fury. "Or you'd all hate me. You all became friends with Darkness, except maybe you, Dawnfur." she continued, eyes narrowed, and ears flattened. "But I trusted Darkness as much as you might've trusted your bes friend." Dawnfur muttered half to herself, "And I trusted him about as much as I'd trust a dog."
"Enough explaining, Frostywind, I think we all understand what you're saying," Ravenstar mewed, slowly approaching Frostywind, who was still next to Darkness. "Oh, great," Frostywind murmured sarcastically. "Frostywind, Darkness or his friend are not dead, just let the medicine cats care for them. I don't think they'll want to, though." she added, glaring at Darkness.
"Dreamstripe, go ahead and care for the filthy idiot. Don't be the cause of deaths," Cheetahstar meowed, glaring at Darkness, too. Dreamstripe, a cloudy white she-cat with blue-gray stripes, walked over to Darkness, glaring at him. She examined him for a while, then mewed at last, "He'll survive," but couldn't help but mutter, "sadly."
Frostywind beamed uneasily. "Go ahead, Featherwhisker," murmured Spottedstar. "May as well see Blackwhisker,"
Featherwhisker, a pale gray tom with darker paws, muzzle and tail-tip, nodded to his leader, and padded over to Blackwhisker. "Sadly, he's going to survive as well." Featherwhisker hissed, glaring angrily down at Blackwhisker. "I personally think Flamestripe had the right to kill him. Same goes for Dawnfur." Silvershadow mewed. Mews of agreement rose from the cats.
"Well, fine, let them die! I don't care if it's you you feel guilty for being part of the cause for a cat's death! At least I'll know that I tried to help them!" Frostywind growled, her fur bristling, and with that, she turned and stalked angrily out of the cave. "I'll follow," Flamestripe and Dawnfur sighed. "Me too," Silvershadow added, and the three raced out of the cave after Frostywind.
"Frostywind, we're sorry," Dawnfur mewed after catching up to Frostywind. "Hello, Dawnfur, how is Darkness?" asked Frostywind, glaring at the ground. "Er, not much changed since you left," Flamestripe mewed. Dawnfur rolled her eyes at the sky. "Oh," Frostywind replied.
"Yeah, well, Darkness is awake now." Silvershadow mewed. "Silvershadow, h-how do you know?" hissed Frostywind. "I just heard angry yowls, and cats saying they weren't going to fight him." Silvershadow replied simply, and dashed back to the cave, closely followed by Frostywind, Dawnfur and Flamestripe.
Darkness was glaring at the cats surrounding him, and Frostywind walked up to him. Darkness glared at her. "Gonna try to finish me off now, are you?" he snarled, unsheathing his claws. "Er, no," Frostywind mewed, staring at Darkness. "I'm actually the one who caused you not to die, or whatever."
Darkness glared at her even more angrily. "Why should I believe that?" he remarked, baring his teeth, and flattening his ears to his head. "Ask any of the cats here why!" Frostywind retorted, seemingly forcing her fur to lay flat. "You idiot, I have no idea why you can't believe me! Now I have no idea why I even wanted you to live!" Frostywind yowled in rage.
"Well, since my Clan is gone, except for Blackwhisker, my loyal friend, may I join ThunderClan once more?" asked Darkness, but winced as if he knew the answer would be loud yowls of 'no' and claws raking across his face, fangs biting into his throat and blood oozing out of him everywhere.
"Alright, Darkness," Ravenstar mewed, dipping her head. "I believe I have an idea, though. You will regain your warrior name today, and you must swear never to betray us again." her tail lashed angrily. "Fine, I agree to all that," Darkness replied, looking from Frostywind, to Ravenstar, Dawnfur, and all the other cats.
"Well, what are you waiting for, can you walk?" Ravenstar hissed, walking over to Darkness, and forcing him to his paws. "Hurry up now, we don't have till moonrise!" Spottedstar mewed, helping Ravenstar. Frostywind beamed, but Dawnfur looked angry that Darkness was back in ThunderClan.
"Think I could transfer to RiverClan?" she growled, walking over to Flamestripe. "No, don't think so," Flamestripe laughed, following the large group of cats out of the cave. "Great," Dawnfur mewed sarcastically, rolling her eyes.
Frostywind slowed down so that she was next to Dawnfur. "Isn't it great?" she asked, grinning widely. "No," Dawnfur hissed. "it's not." her tail was lashing in fury, and her claws were still unsheathed.
Soon, the large crowd of cats reached ThunderClan camp. "Bye, Spottedstar, Cheetahstar!" Ravenstar mewed, touching noses with each of them in farewell. "See you next Gathering," Spottedstar replied cheerfully. "Bye," Cheetahstar mewed. Silvershadow dashed over to Dawnfur, Flamestripe and Frostywind. "Bye," he mewed. "hope we meet again soon!" he added, beaming at the three.
"Bye Silvershadow!" the three mewed at the same time. "Maybe we'll see you at border patrol," Dawnfur mewed. "If not, see you next Gathering!" Flamestripe added. Dawnfur, Flamestripe and Frostywind each touched noses with Silvershadow, just as Ravenstar had done to the other two leaders. "Shame," Flamestripe laughed. "ShadowClan had to miss all this!"
Frostywind beamed, and Dawnfur nodded cheerfully. They all walked into the warriors den for sleep, but then rushed out again after remembering that Darkness still had to have his ceremony. "He doesn't deserve it!" Dawnfur snarled. "Yes, he does!" Frostywind replied, grinning at Darkness and Ravenstar. "I agree with Dawnfur, this time, sister." Flamestripe mewed, looking at Frostywind.
Frostywind sighed, and rolled her eyes. "Whatever," she muttered, and pricked her ears to listen to the ceremony. Even though most cats were already listening, Ravenstar called, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highstone for a Clan meeting!" Ravenstar bellowed. Once more cats either poked their heads out of the dens, or came to listen, Ravenstar began.
"As you all know, we have just fought a very dangerous battle," Ravenstar meowed. "But luckily, none have joined the ranks of StarClan today. Frostywind almost had, sadly, but luckily StarClan chose that Frostywind is not ready yet to be in StarClan." Ravenstar beamed down at Frostywind. "And as you all know, Frostywind stopped us from killing Darkness."
A few cats growled, but Ravenstar hissed for silence. "But maybe StarClan didn't accept her to StarClan today because they wanted Darkness to be saved. That is what Duskshadow and I both believe. Frostywind saved two lives, Blackwhisker's and Darkness'." Ravenstar continued, and for the first time since they reached camp, Dawnfur realized Blackwhisker was sitting next to Darkness, who was next to Ravenstar.
"I believe I can trust Darkness this time, but we'll have to see about Blackwhisker, as he was not the one we let in our Clan before. Anyway, onto the point . . . I have decided, and Duskshadow quite agrees with me that . . ." Ravenstar grinned widely, she looked very cheerful. "Darkness and Blackwhisker shall start out by being apprentices again, as we must teach them the warrior code over again."
Dawnfur laughed, but Frostywind looked taken aback. All the more reason that Ravenstar is the best leader I can remember! Dawnfur thought happily. Once the laughs has died down, Ravenstar continued, "Darkness, from this moment, you will be known as Darknesspaw. Your mentor will be Dawnfur."
Dawnfur was completely shocked. She gasped, thinking, I don't want to mentor that filthy black tom! Ravenstar, you can't, you can't do this to me! "Dawnfur, you are a powerful, clever and skillful warrior, and I trust you to pass on all you know to Darknesspaw." Ravenstar finished. Dawnfur didn't move. She didn't want to be mentor to someone who was older than her, and a traitorous murderer.
"Dawnfur," Ravenstar mewed quietly, so that only Dawnfur could hear. Dawnfur hissed in fury, and padded over to Darknesspaw and touched noses with him. "When do we train?" Darknesspaw smirked. Dawnfur glared at him angrily, and brought him back where she was before, to Flamestripe and Frostywind.
"Blackwhisker, from this moment, you will be known as Blackpaw. Your mentor will be Flamestripe. Flamestripe, you are a strong and swift warrior, and I trust you to pass on all you know to Blackpaw." Ravenstar mewed. Flamestripe was frozen to the spot, just as Dawnfur had been.
Dawnfur knew he was thinking, But I don't want to pass on my skills to him! and she quite agreed with that. Ravenstar gave Flamestripe a warning glare, and Flamestripe stormed silently over to Blackpaw and touched noses with him, then went to stand next to Dawnfur. "Hmph! Funny she makes the ones that fought the stupid cats be their mentors!" Dawnfur hissed.
Flamestripe nodded. "I wish I got an apprentice," Frostywind murmured. "I'll gladly give you mine!" Dawnfur mewed. "Take Blackpaw instead!" Flamestripe mewed quickly after Dawnfur. Ravenstar was standing in front of them now. "No, you will be training those apprentices, whether you like it or not."
"And we don't like it!" Flamestripe and Dawnfur hissed. Ravenstar silenced them with a glare, and stalked off to her den. "We'll train tomorrow," Flamestripe sighed, rolling his eyes. "Right now we, as well as you, need rest." Dawnfur added in a growl. Darknesspaw bowed his head, as well as Blackpaw.
Dawnfur followed Flamestripe to the warriors den, and glanced over her shoulder to see the two apprentices smiling. She quickly turned her head again. "Those two . . ." Dawnfur couldn't think of the right words to say, but any insult would fit in her opinion.

Next chapter belongs to Darknesspaw! Haha, I love that name. XD Then Frostywind gets another chapter. Hmmm . . . . what colour should Darknesspaw's chapter be? -thinks- Brown, purple, green? I think brown or purple . . . Oh, by the way, it looks just as long when it's on size one! ;D

This made the cat angrier than before. He opened his eyes, but at that same moment, Dawnfur bowled him over and pinned him.

Featherwhisker hissed, glaring angrily down at Blackwhisker.
