...Well? What did you think? I thought the plot was excellent. I loved the idea of a fifth Clan - it humbled StarClan and the four Clans very much. Skywatcher was a great character; I loved him soooo much. Some of the names were extremely weird...Milkfur? Hollowbelly? Petalnose? Buzzardtail? Honestly. It was like twice as long as the other books! I just finished it; I got it this morning. DISCUSS! ;D ;D ;D

I ENJOYED it! Have you heard the rumors about how Crowfeather was Jaypaw's father, and Leafpool was his mother? Well I admit, I started to think that to, but that was only because I thought Jaypaw looked like Crowfeather with the pelt and eye color. But now I don't think so, because at the end of the book, we found out that Tigerstar's father was Cloudstar's son. So I think that Jaypaw got his eye and fur color from Cloudstar. What do you think?

Definitely possible. Could be a recessive trait. (Science. Teehee) Echosong was such a pretty name. How could Firestar think of that, then hand out the name "Petalnose"? I loved the tone of this book. It was a lot darker, more mysterious than the others. SkyClan's territory was nothing like the forest Clans', making it seem strange and foreign to me, the reader, as well. The whole story and plot were laid out really well, except for the part with the journey up the river. I got seriously bored after about thirty pages of nothing but sneaking around Twolegs.

I thought the plot was excellent. I loved the idea of a fifth Clan - it humbled StarClan and the four Clans very much. Skywatcher was a great character; I loved him soooo much. Skywatcher, nooooo! Yes, the plot was excellent, I'm happy to hear of SkyClan! ^^ Some of the names were extremely weird...Milkfur? Hollowbelly? Petalnose? Buzzardtail? Honestly. I like the name Petalnose and Milkfur . . . It was like twice as long as the other books! I just finished it; I got it this morning. I agree, it was long, but I expected it to be long er . . . Okay! ;D I ENJOYED it! I still believe that Jaypaw is Crowfeather and Leafpool's kit. But that's probably cause I want them to be mates. XD But yes, you're right, they could just look like that because of descendants of Cloudstar . . . Echosong was such a pretty name. How could Firestar think of that, then hand out the name "Petalnose"? I like the name Echosong soooo much. ;D Petalnose is a good name to me. SkyClan's territory was strange, but SkyClan was different . . . And I agree, it was a little boring at that part.

But I was a little disappointed that they didn't write about the journey back to the forest . . .

At least we got to witmess Squirrelflight and Leafpool being in the nursery, that reminds me, why didn't they name Squirrelflight Squirreltail, you would think that after the part when they got their names. I mean Firestar said it hisself, "The dark ginger kit is Squirrelkit because of her bushy tail."

Good point . . . but maybe Firestar named her Squirrelflight because of the journey she made with Brambleclaw. XD
Yeah, stupid reason, I know.

Thanks, and yeah, blame it on Erin. ;D Joke, don't really blame it on her . . . then again, she IS the author . . . anyway, back on topic . . . Yeah, Firestar probably had his reasons to name her that, I have no idea why, though.

How about being part of TigerClan under Tigerstar while he led them into the town while the Twolegs were tearing down the forest? XD Scary thought.
Back to FQ...
Was anyone else surprised to see Rainfur die? I knew they'd knock off a SkyClan cat sooner or later, but I totally expected Sharpclaw to be killed. I also didn't imagine Shortwhisker leaving like that.
One of my favorite "little" aspects of the book was Oscar the kittypet. I was immensely pleased when the author created a cat, with SkyClan blood, who scorned Clan life and preferred to be a kittypet. At first, when Firestar began recruiting cats, I was like "Yeah, every SkyClan-blooded cat will join hooray", but Oscar was an excellent example of a cat who was better suited for a kittypet's life.

How about being part of TigerClan under Tigerstar while he led them into the town while the Twolegs were tearing down the forest? XD Scary thought. Noooo, very scary. XD Yeah. ^^ Was anyone else surprised to see Rainfur die? I knew they'd knock off a SkyClan cat sooner or later, but I totally expected Sharpclaw to be killed. I also didn't imagine Shortwhisker leaving like that. I agree, I didn't want Rainfur to die, I expected it to be Shortwhisker, really . . . And I didn't expect him to leave SkyClan either, I thought he'd stay loyal to SkyClan . . . I agree, but Oscar was annoying. I'd have liked to see him try to fight . . . At least fight against SkyClan, and see who wins . . . XD
