I know who to blame for Squirrelflight's name: THE EDITOR!!!
This whole story was the editor's idea in the first place, not Erin Hunter's! She was the one that got the two authors together under the same name! SHE created the family trees and Allegiances! SHE'S the mastermind! And SHE (I think) named Squirrelpaw Squirrelflight!

I hate the name " Squrrielfight"! It sounds like a squrriel areoplane! (meaning she can fly)

I think squirrelflight is okay but I don't like spiderleg. He could have been one of the coolest characters, but he got stuck with a weird name...Rainwhisker has the best name if you ask me.
And Vicky (editor lady) made up all the warriors stuff? wow...and I don't even think she has a byline thingy in the book..........I just heard her name on the guttersnipe...

I enjoy hearing TSF's members debating, critisizing, and disscusing the latest in warriors. Nice thread Sharplily! You shall gain 1k karma points for that....I must also note that both Erin Hunter's have stated the all three of them think up, not just Vick Holmes. Don't be so unliking towards here, for it was her who masterminded the plot, ideas, and mostlikely many names in the first 6 books. And I'm sure all of you would agree those rok! names 'n' all

I think squirrelflight is okay but I don't like spiderleg. I agree... The main reason I don't like Spiderleg as a name is cause I got arachnophobia  |

-Leafpool (gooder name-Leafpelt) Leafpool is a good name! I think the other ones should be fixed but Leafpool is a good one. Hers is special because she found the Moonpool. Otherwise I think that the other names should go back to normal. I personaly like Squirreltail and Spider..... hmmm... hey I do like Spiderfang! That's a good one Sunsetfur! (I know you thought of Squirreltail too but I had thought of that for her warrior name before I looked at this so... ya.) I think that Squirrelflight is fine, not the greatest but okay. At first I didn't like it but now I'm used to it. I thought that her warrior name was going to be Squirreltail though. |

;D I've always loved Yellowfang's name, even though it sounds like her teeth are gross.  When I first heard of Spiderpaw, I thought "Spiderfang!". I guess Leafpool is a good name, but...I have deep-etched memoirs of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade when my friends and I played at recess as warrior cats, and someone was Spiderpaw who became Spiderfang, someone was Squirrelpaw who became Squirreltail, and someone was Leafpaw who became Leafpelt. In 4th grade we had someone play as Cloudpaw who became Cloudburst until Rising Storm came out.  Ahhh.....the good ol' days... |
